Proto and Pindo partner to improve access to AI customer experiences in Africa

Proto’s AI Customer Experience (AICX) solutions are now integrated with Pindo’s API with rapid messaging in Africa.

Proto enables contact centres from diverse industries, such as financial to healthcare services, to automate scaling volumes of customer queries across local and mixed languages, such as Kinyarwanda, Nyanja, and Swahili. Proto's platorm can be deployed across popular messaging channels such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitter, and SMS, allowing businesses and governments to include the maximum number of local consumers.

Pindo is a Rwanda-based SMS platform for developers. Pindo’s marketplace of integrated partners brings innovative communication channels to its clients, including large enterprises and government agencies. Now, Pindo is partnering with Proto to power conversations in local languages such as Kinyarwanda, Swahili and more.

Pindo’s CEO Remy Muhire said: “Reliable unified communication infrastructure in Africa is still an issue. Over the coming weeks, Proto's AICX solutions will deploy the Pindo powering the SMS channel for chatbots.
