How does Proto work with large language models?
Proto runs AI agents through an action–based workflow: detect language and intent, retrieve answers from your approved sources, and execute actions (such as API calls) when needed. For response generation, you can connect third–party LLMs, a dedicated LLM, or a self–hosted model (including on–premise options) to control how data is processed and where it is stored.

What do TTS and STT look like for customers?
When a customer sends a voice message, Proto transcribes it into text for display in Inbox. AI agents and live agents can read the transcript and play the original audio.
Replies can be written as text and delivered to the customer as both text and voice in the selected language and accent.
